We invite you to “come together” with us at Grace Lutheran to worship and praise God!
Merriam Webster defines converge as, “to come together and unite in a common interest or focus.” At Grace Lutheran we “come together” to celebrate our love of God. Convergence worship can be most simply defined as “the coming together of historic and contemporary worship.” Our fourfold order of worship includes: Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending. We respect and honor our Lutheran heritage by including hymns, Psalms, and traditional musical liturgical components, while also welcoming Taizé melodies and current Christian songs. Music is chosen not for style, but for its message and relevance for the day’s Scripture reading(s). We embrace the old and the new to better unite the worshipping saints of every generation. Children's Church is held during the Pastor's adult message during worship for all children. Each Sunday during our 9:30 a.m. worship service, Pastor Olson “shows off his socks” and shares a small story before children are ushered out to our Children’s Church room for activities. Children’s activity bags are also available with coloring books and other activities in the narthex, and the unsupervised nursery is open for parents and children.
Holy Communion is celebrated during each worship service. In addition to grape juice, gluten-free wafers are available for communion. Simply indicate to the server your preference. Young children are invited to receive a blessing.
