Children are always welcome to attend worship! Each Sunday during our worship service, Pastor Olson “shows off his socks” and shares a children’s message before children are ushered out to our Children’s Church room for activities. Adult leaders share a story pertaining to that Sunday’s lectionary, and help create something for our children to take home. Children are returned to the sanctuary after the Pastor’s adult message. On Wednesday during the school year, worship begins at 6:00 p.m. and the children are ushered out to the Chapel at 6:20 p.m. to gather for announcements and music before leaving for their faith formation classrooms (4 yrs – 6th Grade) or the supervised nursery with its own activities.
Elected congregational members serve 2 or 3 year terms. Church Council members are elected at the Annual Meeting held on the last Sunday of January each year. For more information and to peruse a summary of meeting minutes, click here.

Team members consider the needs of the church and create a theme each year for congregational members to reflect on how God invites us on a continual journey of growing in gratitude and generosity. Two dates in the fall are reserved as ‘Commitment Sunday’ and ‘Commitment Wednesday’ for the congregation to consider their giving for the next year.
Each Sunday, team members assist in worship by projecting the service details on the screen for congregation members, videotaping the service for television, and recording the service for radio and online broadcasting.
